As noted earlier, Amish individuals don’t typically cut their body hair. However, there were recent incidents where assailants targeted Amish communities, forcibly cutting the hair and beards of their victims.

The mastermind behind these attacks, Samuel Mullet, along with his accomplices, is now serving an 11-year sentence in a Texas penitentiary.
